Why are there two versions of Ruby Bingo - Download and Instant Play?
Our Instant Play game uses Flash® technology to make it simple and quick to join Ruby Bingo and start playing. There is no download, just click, register and play.

Why should I bother downloading the software?
Today's fast internet connections mean you can download the Ruby Bingo software in a minute or two. Once installed, you will find the game more responsive, the chat takes place in a separate, re-sizeable window and, best of all, there's a slot game and scratch card game built right in to the main screen.

Why does the game take up the whole screen?
This depends on whether you are using the Download or Instant Play game. If you are using the Downloaded game and you want a smaller screen, there are two ways to do this:
- Go to the options screen, click on settings and take the tick out of the 'full screen mode' option.
- Change the resolution setting on your computer via the Control Panel.
If you are using the Instant Play game, you will see that it runs in a browser window. Just re-size the window to suit your needs.

My Chat window is too small.
In the Downloaded game, the chat window can be sized just like a regular program window. Just grab the edge or corner with your mouse cursor and drag it out - you can even position it outside the main game window. If you are using the Instant Play game, the size of the chat window is fixed, but you can alter the size of the font - see the next answer.

I can't read my Chat!
Below the list of players in the room you will see a plus and minus sign.
If you click on the '+' sign, you can increase the size of the font. If the font size is too big, click the '-' sign until you have a font that is comfortable for you to read.

What does 'Pages' mean?
This feature allows you to see ALL cards purchased for each game. You can view up to six cards (36 tickets). If you have purchased more than a single page worth of cards, tabs will appear to enable you to view up to four additional pages.

How can I check my game history?
Click on the large "Buy Cards Here" button which will take you to the Card Purchase screen. Select the History tab, then click on the "View" button of the game you are interested in. You will not only see the numbers that were called that game, but also your actual cards and how they were daubed.

Can I fund without leaving the game?
Yes, by clicking on the 'Cashier' button you can easily deposit to your account without leaving the game you are playing. This means you can quickly and easily make a deposit without missing out on any of the action.

I was disconnected, am I still in the game?
Yes. Absolutely. And when you return, your cards will also remain until the current game finishes. Ruby Bingo UK does not allow you to lose your cards or wagers for any game you have purchased cards for. The card manager will automatically play your cards through any disconnection, your end or ours.

How do I buy cards?
If you want to buy cards for the next game, the simplest way is to go to the "Quick Buy" information box in the bottom right hand corner of the game screen. Here you can see all details of the next game and select the number of cards you want to buy.

If you want more card purchassing options, click on the large "Buy Cards Here" button. This will take you to the Card Purchasing screens where you can choose to select individual cards for the Next Game, All Games or forthcoming Specials. You can even scroll through the cards and select ones with your "lucky" numbers. For every game there is full information on that game plus any promotions that apply.

You can also choose to Pre-Buy in this window using the Pre-Buy tool in the bottom right of the Card Purchase screeen. Just select the number of games you wish to buy ahead for, the number of cards you wish to purchase each game and then click on either the Any Price or Same Price buttons. Please remember that Pre-Buying cards cannot be undone once you have pressed "OK" oln the confirmation screen.

Once you have purchased cards, your cards will still play and any game winnings will automatically be credited to your account even if you have to turn off your computer.

I have a bingo, but don't seem to have a Bingo button!
There's no need to bash a bingo button, bingo is automatically called for you.

How do I know how many players are in the game?
Just click on the "Bingo Halls" button to see the number of players in the current game. To see how many players have purchased cards for forthcoming games,, go to the Card Purchasing screen by clicking on the "Buy Cards Here" button and choose the All Games or Specials tabs.

What does "XX balls to bingo" mean?
This shows the number of balls from bingo of the best card in the game. Don't worry if it's doing better than you - you can always catch up!

Can I play Scratch Cards and Bingo?
Yes you can. In fact you can play any of our other games such as Slots, Scratchers and Video Poker while still playing Bingo. When you click on the "more Games" button, your screen will switch to the game of your choice, but your bingo games will continue to play in the background.

What is the "Info" button?
From here you can review lots of useful information without leaving the game. You can look at the Schedule, lists of all the Games and Specials coming up that month and also a list of our Winners. If you check here often, you will never miss out!

How will I know if I'm close to winning?
Click on the 'Options' tab, and click on 'Sort Cards'. This will bring your best two cards to the main screen. When you are close to Bingo the borders of your cards will change color Blue = 3 balls away, Green = 2 balls away, Red = 1 ball away, Gold = BINGO! This is a great visual aid so you can see at a glance how close you are to winning!

How do I get Help?

I have no sound!
Be sure your audio settings are enabled on the 'Options' tab. Also check your computer's audio settings. You can also choose between a male or female caller.

How many cards can I play?
The maximum number of cards you can play is 30 - a total of 180 tickets. This may vary with some special games.

How much does each game cost to play?
Ticket prices will vary from 1p to 20p in minimum cards of six tickets. Other card values may be introduced for special promotions.. Ask your Chat Masters, and watch your email for announcements about our special games.

How is the prize money determined?
All Ruby Bingo UK's prizes and jackpots are paid in 100% cash - not bonus money or a mix of bonus and cash like so many other bingo games. Each game's prize is based on the number of cards in play during that game. A percentage of the "pot" goes toward the prize for that game and also towards one or more progressive jackpots. So, the more roomies playing, the greater the prize. Jackpots are progressive, except during certain special game nights where they will be at a set amount. Some special games have physical prizes like vacations, DVD players or digital cameras as well as the cash prize.

How many people will I be playing with?
That will depend, but each game will show how many players are currently in the game. The next game should have a similar number. It will vary from the time of day, to day of the week, to the specials on at the time, but it's always fun!!

Can I chat with other players?
Absolutely!! And that's part of the fun. Come into the chat room, meet some new friends and play some of the fabulous Chat Games that have made Ruby Bingo so famous.

So what happens if I have a bingo?
We make that easy for you. Your tickets will change color as you get closer to the winning pattern. When one of your tickets is three calls away from a win, it will turn blue and indicate at the top of the card three balls to bingo and so on the closer you get to Bingo, two calls away it will turn green, one call away, it will turn red and when you have bingo, it will be gold, and tell you that you have a bingo!! Congratulations!! You don't have to shout bingo (though you can of course) the game will do that for you automatically. Also when you Bingo you will be notified! And when a Jackpot is hit, an announcement with a fanfare will be made to all players.

Hey, what happened? I got bingo, but only half the shown prize amount!
From time to time, you will find that another player is as lucky as you are! In cases where two players both bingo on the same number, the prize or Jackpot is split between the two (or more) winning tickets. If you needed the same number to win on two tickets, and the other player needed it on only one, you would get 2/3 of the prize for that game!!

How much can I win?
Most of our jackpots are progressive, and most are funded with at least £500 to start them off. They increase in size with every game played, until someone gets lucky and wins. We are set up to average one winner every day at least!! Great odds!! Cash prizes are won for every game, so how much you win is unlimited. Go for it!

Yea me! I just won a Jackpot!!! Now what?
You have a couple of options here, depending on your preference. First, you may want to consider leaving money in your account for future play. Many players do this, and some go on to play big and win even more. However, if you would like to make a withdrawal, be sure to leave enough in your account to allow you to play for a few more days while your winnings are wired to you. Also, remember that any unredeemed bonus money in your account, or bonus money in your Bonus Reserve, will be removed when you withdraw. You may want to make sure that you use these funds first.

How do I withdraw my winnings?
To make a withdrawal, click on the Cashier button in the game. This will take you to a page where you should select the Withdrawal option. There you will be shown the different withdrawal methods available to you. The Pending Withdraws tab allows you to display the withdrawals you have requested, but have not been processed yet. Ruby Bingo UK waits four business days before processing your withdrawal request. During this time period you can use this option to cancel your withdrawal request and transfer the money back into your account.

I've forgotten my password - how can I get into the game?
If you have lost your password, we need to ensure that you are the valid account holder before we can send the password to you. This is to protect your interests. For this reason, we require you to send the following information to support@rubybingo.com using the the e-mail address registered in your casino account. As soon as we receive this, you will receive your new password shortly.

  1. Your first and last names as used by you when registering your acocunt.
  2. Your email address quoted when registering hour account.

I got three cherries in the In-Game slots....why didn't I win?
In the In-Game Slots, the symbols can stop spinning in a number of visible positions, but only the middle line is the pay line. Look at these examples:

In the example above, the 3-Bars are in the same position on all three reels, but this is not a winning position. The same is true for the B balls.

In this example, the 3-Bars are all on the centre, winning line, and so qualify for a win.

How do I make a deposit to my account?
In order to make a deposit you must first download the game software. For complete step-by-step instructions on downloading and installing the game, go to Getting Started section. You then need to open your real money account. After you receive your real-money username and password, you are ready to make a deposit into your Ruby Bingo UK account.

How long does it take to process my deposit?
Credit card deposits take approximately 2-5 minutes to process and funds are made available in your account within this time frame.
Wire Transfer deposits take 2 business days to arrive at our bank. Your account will be credited as soon as our bank receives the transfer.

Bank Draft / Personal check deposits take about a week to reach our offices. It takes additional 10 days for a Bank Draft to be cleared and about 21 days for a Personal check to be cleared. How do I withdraw my winnings?
To withdraw money from your account go to Cashier and select the “Withdraw” button.
If you have an active account in any of the payment systems listed below, then your withdrawal will be made to those accounts as the first option. Please note that, because of controls by the credit card companies, it is no longer possible to credit withdrawals back to your credit cards.

For security reasons withdrawals can only be made if you have made a successful deposit to your account.

Bank drafts will be sent to your billing address, as specified by you during the account registration process, using regular worldwide mail. Please make sure that the specified billing address is correct to avoid any delays. If this address had been changed please contact out Customer Service department at support@rubybingo.com. Please allow up to three weeks for delivery due to slow mail service. There are no charges imposed on bank draft withdrawals.

If you select Wire transfer as the preferred method for withdrawal, you will be asked to fill in your bank account details. There are no charges imposed on Wire transfer withdrawals.

You can track the status of your withdrawal requests by entering the cashier and selecting the “Transaction history” screen. The status column in this screen identifies each transaction’s exact phase.

What is the “pending withdrawals” screen?
Once you make a withdrawal, your withdrawal request is pending to be processed by our financial department. By entering the “Pending withdrawals” screen in the “Withdraw” section in the cashier you can view all your withdrawal requests that are waiting to be processed.

Generally no withdrawal request will be processed for four business days after making the request. Until a withdrawal transaction has breen processed, you can cancel it and return the amount back to your account, so that you can continue to play. Note that there is no deposit bonus entitlement with cancelled withdrawals.

How can I follow up financial transaction operations?
The Cashier’s "Transaction History" section stores a complete history of all your financial actions, such as withdrawals and deposit requests.

I have made a Withdrawal but have changed my mind. How do I cancel a Withdrawal request?
As mentioned, all withdrawal requests awaiting to be processed show up in the “pending withdrawals” screen in “Withdraw” section in Cashier, for about four business days from your initial withdrawal request date. You can cancel withdrawal requests as long as they show up in the “pending Withdraws” screen, and return the requested amount back to your bingo account, so you can go ahead and play.
